Jake Smith, Director

Jake is a Director, Writer and producer. He was the Artistic Director of the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival in Hampshire from 2016-19. He was nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Director for the UK premier of Halley Feiffer’s I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard and has notably directed Hound of the Baskervilles for Northern Stage, A Christmas Carol for Chichester Festival Theatre and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for UK Tour.

​He is Associate Lecturer at The Northern School of Art. Jake is incredibly passionate about arts education, regional theatre and further building the arts ecology and training for creatives.

Jake is also playing the role of ​Geoffrey Redhead.
