A Lark - The Life of Ursula Vaughan Williams

DDOS Presents: A Lark

“When lonely Ursula writes to composer Ralph Vaughan Williams with an idea for a ballet, little does she realise she will become the creative partner and muse of a genius as well as one corner of a love triangle”

A Lark is a beautiful musical play about the life & times of Ursula Vaughan Williams, second wife of Ralph. Featuring new music inspired by the man himself, the amazing Clara Coslett sings, plays the violin and acts in the main role.

We were proud to showcase a short excerpt of this production last year at Festival 15 and even prouder now to bring the full play to Dorking as a premiere in RVW's home town.

A classic in the making and not to be missed.

URSULA VAUGHAN WILLIAMS: Clara Coslett
WRITER: Ross Clark
DIRECTOR: Ruth Mestel
MUSICAL DIRECTOR: Harry Style
