Jane qualified as a BSL Interpreter in 2010. She has done various types of interpreting during her career, but her passion has always been theatre work.
She interpreted for her first Pantomime in 2014 and loved every minute. Since then she has done Panto at The Cast in Doncaster, The Glee Club, Kez, The Gruffalo’s Child, Beach Babe Ready, The Great Gatsby Immersive production in Sheffield and London and a children’s narrative at the Hull Truck Theatre. For the past three years she has interpreted the Panto at The Theatre Royal, Lincoln. She has recently interpreted the Railway children and 71 Coltman Street at Hull Truck Theatre. 8/4/2022 0 Comments Jack Weir, Lighting DesignerJack is a five time Off West End award nominee and Whats On Stage award nominee for Best Lighting Design. He trained at the Guildhall School and won the ETC award for Lighting in 2014 and the LIT Award for lighting in 2017. He has previously designed Death Drop at the Garrick Theatre in the West End and on tour.
8/4/2022 0 Comments Lu Herbert, Set DesignerLu is a graduate from Leeds Arts University where she studies Object and Spatial Design. she also has the BA in Production Arts and Design, specialising in St and Costume design from the Royal Conservatoire (Scotland).
Lu is currently undertaking a Masters in Collaborative Theatre Production and Design at Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She is excited by new and playful theatre and loves experimenting with colour pallets, texture and lighting on stage. 8/4/2022 0 Comments Harry Style, Musical DirectorHarry Style is a composer-arranger in theatre and television, and singer with the Ashatones, a barbershop quartet.
His credentials include composer for Liz and Forgive, Oh Father! at the Edinburgh Fringe, and musical director on Godspell at the Bridewell Theatre. He has been Musical Director for projects at Theatre Royal Haymarket (2018) and at The Other Palace (2017-2018). Frazer trained as an actor at The University of The West of England and then as a Director at the prestigious Bristol Old Vic Theatre School on the MA Drama Directing program. Now working as a director, movement director and facilitator he specialises in ensemble and interdisciplinary work.
8/4/2022 0 Comments Jake Smith, DirectorJake is a Director, Writer and producer. He was the Artistic Director of the Petersfield Shakespeare Festival in Hampshire from 2016-19. He was nominated for an Off West End Award for Best Director for the UK premier of Halley Feiffer’s I’m Gonna Pray For You So Hard and has notably directed Hound of the Baskervilles for Northern Stage, A Christmas Carol for Chichester Festival Theatre and The Legend of Sleepy Hollow for UK Tour.
Mary has written, produced and directed a number of her own plays for which she was nominated twice for ‘Best Original Writer’ in the Buxton Festival Fringe and won the award another year.
Mary has recently staged two plays in the Buxton Festival Fringe. The first, ‘Autumn in Picardy’ is about two 1st WW condemned soldiers who become friends as they share a cell. The latest is ‘Argy Bargy’ - a humorous play about three young men discussing life. She is currently working on a play about the life of Mary of Magdala. Peter has written, and directed, two musicals for schools, Aliens in Class 6L and Mr Boltin and The Temple of Doom. He was one of the coordinators of the 2016 commemoration of the 750th Anniversary of the Battle of Chesterfield, which led to a day’s pageant in the town centre.
Peter can be found playing saxophone with Jig For a Kiss and calling for ceilidhs. He was the founder of Brampton Community Band. Martin is Artistic Director of Ashgate Heritage Arts. Martin is an experienced musical director, composer, teacher, tutor and coach and enjoys collaborative working, adapting stories into musicals for performance.
He has written a number of musicals including The Perfect City, Oswald and the Mystery of Comet Island, Mountains of the Moon and A Short History of Tractors (not) in Ukrainian based on the novel by Marina Lewycka. He staged a sold-out run of Ferguson's Gang at Guildford's Yvonne Arnaud Mill Theatre. Martin performs with the Brampton Community Band, a ceilidh group. |
